Speech Connection offers these services:

  • Speech-language evaluations for diagnosis and treatment planning.
  • Therapy for:
    • Articulation/phonology disorders (difficulty with producing individual speech sounds or classes of sounds).
    • Language delays or disorders (language development slower than expected or atypical compared to peers).
    • Apraxia of Speech (difficulty with correct sequencing of speech sounds, prosody, and voicing (vocal fold vibration) due to motor planning problems of the brain).
  • Therapy for speech-language disorders that may be caused by:
    • developmental delay; autism; mild hearing impairment due to frequent ear infections; traumatic brain injury; medical syndromes; and other and unknown causes.

    Services are provided at the child's home, preschool or child care center.
